Salted Roots Blue Door A-Frame Cabin

The A-frame cabin(s) are absolutely stunning. We’ve wanted to stay here for years, and we felt so lucky to finally have such a restful getaway. Being able to see the mountains and Resurrection Bay right from the cabin was such a treat. The cabin is well stocked and full of thoughtful touches. The Salted Roots team knew we were bringing a baby and set out a baby-friendly plate and silverware, and even offered to set up a pack ’n play for us—so appreciated! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the shower and tub are amazing, and the whole space is cozy and perfect for relaxing. We loved cooking in the kitchen all weekend and never felt the need to leave this beautiful space (except for a visit to the Flamingo Lounge for delicious cocktails—highly recommend!). Thank you to the Salted Roots team for making our getaway so special.

We had a fantastic week in Seward, and the Blue Door A-Frame was the perfect place to stay for our family of 4. Close to everything, and plenty of room to explore right on the property (including some outdoor trucks for the kids to play with, and access to the beach!), and a restaurant walking distance. Such thoughtfulness put into the booking, as well as prompt communication while we were there - they even brought over kitchen things we needed for dinner. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, and the bathroom was a dream. We can't wait to visit again, and will definitely be staying at Salted Roots!

My only regret is not coming sooner! The grounds were welcoming and tranquil. Our cabin was absolutely darling. Everything was cozy, functional, and comfortable!

Wonderful accommodations, Salted Roots does NOT disappoint, we will be return guests for sure!!

My friends and I stayed at Salted Roots for two nights for my birthday and it was magical. The cabin is nestled in the woods; at night she is adorned with fairy lights and during the day you have the view of the ocean. The cabin was stocked with things I didn’t even know I needed- cups, lint roller, games, coffee. It was the perfect weekend getaway!
